When we say Valtice and a winery, those who know something about wine will immediately think of the oldest and most prestigious winery of the Czech Republic and former Czechoslovakia – the company Vinné sklepy Valtice.

This winery was founded a long time ago and was at the start of viticulture in Valtice. The winery was built taking its inspiration from the French wine making dominium “Château”. As far as its character and size, the Lichtenstein family built a unique wine making unit of European format.

The company Vinné sklepy Valtice has managed to resurrect and consolidate this wine making dominium into a significant and prosperous unit. We are a winery of medium size and of a family character. Our wine CHÂTEAU VALTICE has become synonymous for wines of the best quality not only in the Czech Republic but also abroad. That is proven by many awards received at highly prestigious local and international wine exhibitions.
